Bad At Projecting

(In middle school I had a teacher known for being mean. Lucky for me, this teacher loved me and was always complimenting me on my academic ability in class. Fast forward two years later when my brother is in her class…)

Brother: “Do you remember [specific project]?”

Me: “Yeah…”

Brother: “Well, [Teacher] showed us some examples of older projects, and one of them was yours.”

Me: “Aw, she still has mine?”

Brother: “Don’t get too excited. She used it as an example of what not to do.”
