I once observed two customers bickering at work. A younger man passed an older woman in the aisle.

Woman: *Grumpily* “Excuse me.”

Man: “That’s okay. I didn’t smell anything.”

The woman approached me for help explaining some computer equipment. For the next ten minutes as I helped her, the woman kept making comments about how nobody respects their elders anymore. The younger man responded by cranking up the volume on our speaker displays and then pretending it was an accident.
