Cruising For A Bruising

(My six-year-old son had been jumping on the bed a few days prior, and had fallen and gotten a giant goose-egg bruise on his forehead. I have just caught him jumping on the bed again.)

Me: “[Son], if you fall again and get another bruise on your forehead, I’m just going to laugh.” *he stops jumping* “And do you remember what I told you that you should say if the kids at school ask about your bruise?”

Son: “They should go see the other guy.” *starts jumping again* “But if I get another bruise, then I can tell them that I’M the other guy!”
