An Appointed Time To Be Disappointed

(I’m a third grade teacher and have been working on getting over disappointment with this particular student.)

Teacher: “Okay, buddy. I know this is upsetting, but are you going to let it ruin your day, or are you going to move on?”

Student: “I’m going to let it ruin my next ten minutes!”
