America Has A Pricing Problem

(I am picking up a few things at a large chain grocery store when an employee makes the following announcement over the PA.)

Employee: *on PA* “[Coworker], come to the manager’s office—” *pause* “—and bring a gun.”

(I stop in my tracks and just stand there. I am sure I heard him wrong. But then–)

Employee: *on PA* “[Coworker], come to the manager’s office and bring a pricing gun.”
