Almost Dying To Pass

(It’s the day of my communications final, and I am deathly ill from food poisoning. Knowing a good portion of my grade depends on this test, I manage to drag myself to the classroom. I have no recollection of what happens during the hour I am taking the test, but I do remember at the end of the hour taking my finished test up to the teacher:)

Teacher: “Good grief, [My Name]! You look terrible!!”

Me: *mumbling* “That’s a fine thing to tell someone who’s dying!”
