(My boyfriend and I are on our way home from an Alice Cooper concert. My boyfriend is the one who got me started listening to Alice Cooper, years before we started dating. The song “This Maniac’s In Love With You” starts playing.)
Boyfriend: “This was one of the first songs I played for you.”
Me: *smiling* “Yeah, I kinda remember.” *pause* “OH, MY GOD! You were trying to tell me how you felt, weren’t you?!”
Boyfriend: “…might’ve been.”
Me: “Sweetie, I love you.”
Boyfriend: *laughing* “I know.”
