(In science class we have gotten onto the topic of allergies.)
Student #1: “Could allergies make your teeth fall out?”
Teacher: “No.”
Student #2: “Could they make your eyes fall out?”
Teacher: “There is no way for an allergy to make your eyes fall out!”
(A few minutes pass.)
Student #3: “Wait, if your eye fell out but was still attached, could you see inside of your head?”
Rest Of The Class: “Eww!”
Teacher: “That’s quite enough, [Student #3].”
Me: *afterwards* “I think I just developed chronic face-palming syndrome.”
