(My boyfriend and I are out for dinner with a few friends. I am talking about how excited I am for an upcoming class called ‘Mobile Robot Programming’.)
Friend: “So basically, you’re going to learn how to control robots?”
Me: “Pretty much.”
Boyfriend: “I told my friend that we’d invite her if you ever started a robot fight club.”
Me: “Sweetie, what was the first rule about robot fight club?”
Boyfriend: “…do you know how much I love you right now?”
