(I grew up in a town that has a large Pilipino community. Many speak Tagalog, the language of the Philippines. We have a guest artist in my art class, who happened to have visited the Philippines.)
Guest Artist: *to a random Pilipino student* “Oh, do you speak tag-a-long?”
Student: “Uh, no?”
(No one could take her seriously after that!)
