Add Pee-Man To The NAR Avenger’s Villain Roster

The store is closed, and we are working through closing tasks. I’m doing paperwork in the office when the other manager on duty, who is admittedly a bit hot-headed, storms into the office.

Manager: “I need your help confronting this a**hole p***ing outside the back door!”

Me: “Excuse me?!”

Manager: “I opened the door to take trash out and almost hit him! He was still going too! Literally asked me to give him a f****** second to finish!”

Well then… we go together and find him having apparently finished his business. [Manager] calls out:

Manager: “If I ever see you here again, I’m calling the f****** cops!”

At this, he stops and turns, thankfully not coming closer, and proceeds to start cussing us both out.

Pee-Man: “F*** you, b****! I got f***** permission!”

Me: “Bull. No one here gave you permission to p*** on private property.”

Pee-Man: “F*** you! That blonde brat inside gave me a cup! I got f***** permission!”

The only blonde on shift is my dining room attendant, a minor working through high school.

Me: “She has absolutely no authority to give you permission to p*** outside our door!”

Pee-Man: “F*** you!! This is f****** harassment! I’m a f****** veteran, you stupid b****! I’ll sue your a**!”

Manager: “You can try, now get off my property!”

Pee-Man: “F*** you! I’m gonna come in on Tuesday! I’m gonna bring back my f****** cup with my f****** piss and show your boss I got f****** permission! You’re gonna f****** regret this, b****.”

Our general manager is a very strict woman with an incredibly short temper. I actually snort at the image of this man bringing a cup of p*** to her and it ending in any way other than a death.

Me: “Go ahead! I’d actually love to see that! Go ahead and complain I didn’t let you p*** on her property!”

Manager: “Leave before I call the f****** cops!”

Pee-Man: “Go ahead and call them, c***!”

He continues screaming, so we decide to do just that and head inside. [Manager] calls while I check all the doors are locked and talked to my dining room attendant.

She confirmed he knocked after closing and asked for the cup because he had to go to the bathroom, so she got him one. Which then meant I got to have an entire conversation with her about not opening doors for people after close, but especially not weird, sketchy people asking to pee in a cup!?

By the time my other manager manages to get on the line with an operator, the man has finally left on his own, so she gives a brief report. We finished up quickly, making sure everyone got to their cars safely.

If only it ended there.

I went in the next day, and it was confirmed that Pee-Man is actually a regular. It was hard for me to recognize him after dark, but my other manager got a better look. This regular has always been incredibly racist and prone to trapping whatever poor cashier helps him into a long and uncomfortable conversation. I’m only slightly surprised his behavior escalated as it did. I AM surprised he decided to pull this stunt at a place he frequents. We literally know his name.

Less than an hour into the shift, my cashier gets a call. A man demanding a manager. When she asked why, he cussed at her and threatened to sue if she didn’t get him a manager immediately. My general manager was actually in and had already been updated, and picked it up. When he started in on her, apparently threatening to sue and tell everyone she hates veterans and other nonsense, she snapped back.

General Manager: “Stop! I have video evidence from my back door that shows you exposing yourself to urinate. I have reports from two of my managers about your behavior. I don’t care what you say. You are never allowed back in our store again.”

She hung up, and he proceeded to call again, so she picked it up.

General Manager: “Sir, your yelling changes nothing. Tell anyone you want; I really don’t care. And good luck finding a lawyer who will take your case. Don’t ever come near my store or my employees again!”

He calls two more times, and she immediately picks up and hangs up before answering the third try, and doesn’t even let him speak.

General Manager: “I told you to stop calling! Before I add even more charges to the police report I’m filing today!”

And she hangs up again. He stops calling. At least until we’re closed, when the phone rings and we recognize his number. I warn all my cashiers not to answer, and we let it ring out. Twice, because he tries again, before he evidently gives up.

I left the matter in my general manager’s hands. I know she had him trespassed and filed a report with our local VA’s office as well as the police.
