(I have just asked my boyfriend for help with something that will ultimately be his birthday present, but he doesn’t know that yet. I told him not to ask any questions and am doing my best to distract him.)

Boyfriend: “I’m still really curious as to what you’re doing.”

Me: “These are not the droids you’re looking for.”

Boyfriend: “Are you implying that I’m weak-minded?”

Me: “Of course not, darling. Just that I’m a kick-a** Jedi!”

Boyfriend: “Oh, okay!”
