A Working Schedule

(I am the oldest of four. I attend a nearby university and come home on weekends when I have no commitments at school. My parents are talking about how my father is much more strict with my high-school-aged brother’s studies than he was with my own; specifically, he makes study schedules.)

Dad: “How come I never made a schedule for you, [My Name]?”

Me: “I don’t know. I wish someone would make me a schedule.”

Brother: “Okay, [My Name], here’s your schedule. ’11 am to 11 pm: do work.'”
