A Very Likeable Fellow

(My dad is sitting in the living room watching television when I walk in. There is an advert for Wonder Woman playing.)

Dad: “That looks good.”

Me: “I’m sure it will be fine. What did you think of the last one they made?”

Dad: “Which one was that?”

Me: “Suicide Squad.”

Dad: “I liked it.”

Me: “Ah, but was it a well-made film?”

Dad: “No.”

Me: “What did you think of Batman Vs Superman?”

Dad: “I liked it.”

Me: “Was it a good film?”

Dad: “No.”

Me: “What did you think of the one before that?”

Dad: “Wasn’t that Winter Soldier?”

Me: “Different company. I think it was Superman. What did you think of that?”

Dad: *laughs* “Maybe they should hire me as their focus group.”
