A Small Sample Of How Long They Can Hold The Line Up
I am serving a customer during the summer so we’re very busy and there is a long line.
Customer: “What happens if I don’t like the flavor?”
Me: “We allow you to sample any flavor before purchase.”
Customer: “But what happens if I don’t like the flavor?”
Me: “Not much.”
Customer: “I don’t get a refund?”
Me: “No, because you would have sampled it before buying, and therefore an excuse of not liking it to get a refund isn’t going to fly.”
Customer: “Well what if I don’t sample before I buy?”
Me: “Still no refund.”
Customer: “Okay, how many times can I sample the same flavor?”
Me: “Usually just the one?”
Customer: “Usually?”
Me: “Well usually I might allow more but with every question you ask I’m suspecting more and more than you just want free ice cream.”
Customer: “How many flavors you got?”
Me: “Forty-five.”
Customer: “Could I sample every flavor?”
Me: “Technically.”
Customer: “What happens if I get to the end of the forty-something flavors and forget which ones I like? Can I start over?”
Me: “Ma’am, please leave.”
