A Number Of Ways This Could Have Gone

So, for context, I was having a really bad week with strangers hitting on me, and I was exhausted from work. I went to a cafe next door after work, and I ordered some food and tea to relax. After sitting down for some time, the waiter handed me my food and suddenly asked for my number.

Me: “Sorry, I don’t give my number out to strangers, but thank you. I appreciate it.”

Waiter: “Miss, I meant your order number.”

He was pointing at the white card on my table.

Me: “Oops. I am so sorry.”

I haven’t been back there ever since.
