A New Side To The Teacher
(I am in maths class. While our teacher is very capable and nice, he is also very serious. We are working on geometry, doing an example with a pentagon.)
Teacher: “Can everyone open up to page 112, the example with the pentagon?” *suddenly looks at me* “[My Name], do you know where the Pentagon is?”
(While I do know what the Pentagon is, I am so flustered at being suddenly called on in class that I can’t think what to say.)
Me: “Er…”
Teacher: *laughs* “It’s in Washington, [My Name].”
(The whole class cracked up at the expression on my face, and at the teacher’s sudden change of character!)
