(I have just moved to a room on campus, something my mom doesn’t want me to do but supports me anyway. She is helping me move my stuff, and I’m looking through my things. I’m a 19-year-old female.)
Me: “Ooh.” *puts jar of Vaseline on my nightstand*
Mom: *eyes bulge out* “Uh, you don’t really need THAT there.” *takes it*
Me: “Hm?”
Mom: *hides it* “Pregnancy will hinder your studies…”
Me: *gets it* “Mom! It’s for my lips! I’m not having sex!” *takes it back*
(I managed to get it back, but she’s still convinced I’ll get pregnant. Sigh.)
