A Little Bird Told Me

(My friend and I are chatting when this non-sequitur pops up.)

Me: “I don’t know why this came into my head, but you know how in movies and stuff people being sneaky use bird calls? What would happen if somebody mistook a real bird call for their signal?”

Friend: “Follow up idea: What if they accidentally used a bird that wasn’t in the area and that was what gave them away. The guard comes down and is like ‘Your one mistake: the BLUE WHIPPOORWILL DOESN’T EXIST IN GERMANY!’ or whatever.”
