A Lack Of Moral Support

(I often describe my relationship with this friend with the phrase ‘I am his conscience,’ a description most people agree is fairly accurate. Today, he is trying to decide what to put in a short bio of himself and asking my input.)

Me: “Leave out the bad parts?”

Friend: “That’s a lie of omission.”

Me: “…Something’s wrong here. I’m the one making a suggestion and you’re the one telling me it’s immoral.”
