(Our store is short-staffed. We have just got a shipment in, so all of the employees have been hurrying about, leaving only one register open. The automatic door opens.)
Cashier: “Hello, and welcome to [store].”
Supervisor: “…thanks?”
Cashier: “Uh… hi.”
Supervisor: “I work here.”
Cashier: “Yeah, I know.”
Supervisor: “You don’t have to greet me.”
Cashier: “It’s been a crazy day.”
