A F****** Satisfying Story

I am a bar manager and just started at a new place that has been closed for a while, due to the last owner selling alcohol to underage persons. I make it clear to all the staff that I need them to be on their guard and I will back them up 100%.

On the third day after opening, it is the start of the night and it’s quiet. I am doing my rounds when I hear a customer yelling at one of my staff, so I go over.

Me: “Hello. Can I help?”

Customer: “Yes, you can tell this f****** b**** to serve me!”

I’m trying to keep calm.

Me: “Excuse me?”

Customer: “I f****** said, get her to f****** serve me! She’s f****** refusing to, until I f****** show her my ID.”

I’m still trying to keep calm.

Me: “Do you have any ID?”

Customer: “No. Why the f*** should I?”

Me: *Still trying* “Well, the law…”

Customer: *Interrupting me* “F*** the law and f*** you. I want to speak to the f****** manager.”

I begin to smile on the inside and notice that the female member of staff is a bit upset. I know that this is her first job.

Me: “No problem. We’ll be right back. Come on, [Staff Member].”

I tell the rest of the staff not to serve him, and the other staff member and I go outside for a much-needed cigarette and a chat, to cheer her up and explain that she did nothing wrong.

When we walk back in, the customer sees me.

Customer: “I said I wanted to speak to the f****** manager.”

Me: “I am the f****** manager.”

Customer: “…”

Me: “So, do you have any f****** ID?”

Customer: “No.”

Me: “Well, f*** off and don’t ever speak to my staff like that again!’

We never saw him again and my staff never had a problem asking for ID again.
