A Definitive Closing Argument

I’m locking the doors at closing time (actually, a few minutes AFTER closing time) and, as often happens, a couple comes rushing up.

Me: “Sir, ma’am, we’re closed.”

Customer: “Oh, it’s okay! We know what we want!”

Me: “Me too! And that’s to go home on time.” *Slams door closed.*
