A Cart Full Of Laziness

A customer walks up to the express lane where I am working. She only has three items with a cart. She leaves the cart in the middle of the aisle of the checkout lane.

Me: “Ma’am, you can’t leave that there.”

Customer: “Well, what would you like me to do with it?”

Me: “They go outside.”

Customer: “Well, the odds of me doing that are very slim.”

She put it in front of another register not being used. I just thought, “Don’t you have to go outside anyway to get to your car? Lazy!”
