(My boyfriend and I work together at a store. We are fixing dress shirts on a night that we are open until midnight, so I am not in the greatest mood. We’ve only been together three months and haven’t said ‘I love you’ yet.)
Me: “Ugh, I have to wash my hair when I get home!”
Boyfriend: “Yes. You do.”
Me: “YOU AREN’T SUPPOSED TO AGREE WITH ME! A**-hole.”
Boyfriend: *without thinking* “Love you, too, babe.”
(I give him this look and he just smiles.)
Boyfriend: “It wasn’t supposed to come out like that…”
