Science, Period
Middle School | Learning
| November 22, 2016
(It was that time of the month again, and I had a meltdown earlier in the morning. I come into school late, and my friend is an office helper during the period when I come in. She looks concerned, so she asks me this in our next period.)
Friend: “Are you okay?”
Me: “I have increased levels of hormones due to a monthly condition. This causes exaggerated reactions to stimuli, so I was late for school. Don’t worry though, I’m fine.”
Friend: “Ugh! I don’t speak science!”
