(I’m in biology class, and we’re learning about “maple syrup urine disease” — a disease which causes a person’s urine to have the color and consistency of maple syrup.)
Student #1: “So does the urine, like, smell like maple syrup, too?”
Teacher: “Yes. It has sort of a sweet smell.”
Student #2: “Does it taste like maple syrup?”
