The Learning Curve Is Coming And Going

(We are in the middle of science class, talking about the human anatomy, or more specifically, the reproduction system. My classmate is commenting on how everyone is acting grossed out towards the use of “vagina.”)

Classmate: “I mean, I don’t get it. We are all eighth graders here; why is everyone so grossed out by using the term ‘vagina’? It’s where we all come out of!”

Me: *quietly, but still pretty loud* “It’s also where we try to come into.”
