(In my Western Society class, we have been given an assignment to write an outline explaining which early civilization we feel is most important, and why. Most of us have finished and handed in our work.)
Teacher: *leafing through the papers* “Wait a minute! Are you guys in cahoots? All of you picked the same civilization!”
Me: “What, seriously? We all picked Sumerians?”
Student #1: “Not me! I picked Phoenicians!” *to the rest of the class* “Guys, why wasn’t I included in this? Rude.”
