That’s How I Roll In Español
(I teach Spanish in high school. One of my students is a quiet, studious girl. Another student is a troublemaker who copies others’ assignments and talks – in English – throughout class. I don’t know what he said this time, but apparently it was her breaking point.)
Student: *in Spanish* “Shut up! Unlike some people, I actually want to pass this class, so if you don’t stop being a jerk and let me work, I will shut your mouth for you.”
(It’s obvious the troublemaker had no idea what she was saying, but he turned around anyway.)
Student: *to her friend* “I should do that more often.”
