(We’re taking up some eighth-grade math when a kid from the sixth-grade class comes in.)
Classmate: “Yo, [Kid]!”
Kid: “Yo.” *to my teacher* “Can we borrow some cardboard?”
Teacher: “Cardboard boxes?”
Kid: “Yeah.”
Teacher: “Totally! What do you need them for?”
Kid: “Math class. We’re doing diarrhea.”
(Stunned silence as the kid realizes what he said. A look of horror comes over his face.)
Kid: “I meant diagrams! Diagrams!”
