Well That Game Went Down The Toilet

(My class is out on the field playing a game of rounders (a British version of baseball), and as per usual, everyone is getting very competitive. When it is my turn to hit the ball, I actually do so with quite some force.)

Classmates: “Run! Run!”

(Seeing that the ball was nearly back to the bowler, I stop at the nearest base so I’m safe.)

Classmates: “No! Keep running! Keep running!”

(I did as they said, and unfortunately, I got stumped out.)

Teacher: “Why did you run!?”

Me: “Because they told me to!”

Teacher: “If they told you to stick your head down a toilet, would you!?”

Me: “NO, BECAUSE THAT’S NOT HOW YOU PLAY ROUNDERS!”
