A Portal To A Pass

(I’m sitting in a small lecture class, taking notes while my professor drones on and on. At one point he goes down the rows asking us each a different question.)

Professor: *pointing at me* “Portal?”

Me: “Uh… what?”

Professor: “Your shirt, it’s Aperture Science from Portal, right?

(I look down at my shirt in shock. It is indeed an Aperture Science shirt from ‘Portal.’ Nobody has recognized or commented on it at this point, even though I have worn it a few times before.)

Me: “Uh, yeah it is.”

Professor: “Cool.” *the professor then turns to another student* “Okay, you. Explain why Gilgamesh did what he did here!”
