A-Fur-aid And Teddy-fied

(I am volunteering at an after school club in my local area, when two of the young girls approach me; one of them is clutching a teddy bear.)

Girl #1: *looks at her teddy* “Teddy, do you think we should tell our parents that [my name] beats us?”

(I break out in a cold sweat, worried that these kids are going to get me in some serious trouble with a silly joke. The girl looks at her teddy before nodding in agreement.)

Girl #1: “No? Okay!” *prances off with the other girl*
