Unfiltered Story #32582

(I’m subbing for a TA in a kindergarten classroom. As I’m observing the class at the very beginning of the day before the TA leaves for a meeting, I overhear this conversation between the TA and an office assistant.)

Office Assistant: The school secretary banned [kindergarten kid] from her office yesterday. He went in and licked all her pens.

TA: So he can’t be on office messenger job anymore… Oh no, he’s already gone up for today!

Office Assistant: I’ll catch him, don’t worry!

(She must have ended up catching up to him because he came back about 30 seconds before his messenger partner did. Of course, that got him a telling off about leaving his partner alone! Sometimes you just can’t win.)
