I Swear To Draw The Line

(I overhear this conversation between my son (16 years old) and a friend in Australia (13 years old with an extremely foul mouth) on Skype.)

Friend: “Did you see Deadpool?”

Son: “Yeah. It was really good.”

Friend: “I want to see it.”

Son: “You’re too young. It would be inappropriate.”

(Later…)

Me: “Seriously? This kid calls you the p-word on Skype so loudly I can hear it in the other room. And you think he’s too young to watch Deadpool?”

Son: “Well, there’s a lot of violence and some nudity. You’ve got to draw the line somewhere, Mom.”
