The Daze Of The Week

(I, a friend of mine living in college residence, and some guys he knows in residence, have been playing a campaign of Pathfinder, a tabletop RPG similar to Dungeons & Dragons. In the midst of a battle, one player and I have our characters at negative hit points and unconscious. Since we’re useless to the battle we discuss how we could hypothetically leave and take a break.)

Me: “I should go to [Local Place] and grab a hot chocolate.”

Another Player: “It’s Saturday; would it even still be open?”

Everyone Else: “It’s Tuesday.”

(We all laugh while he scratches his chin thoughtfully. His defense was that it was reading week and therefore he was not keeping track of weekdays. But considering we always met on Tuesdays, that doesn’t quite explain it!)
