Unfiltered Story #98550

(I usually man the register at the fast food place I work at. I will often make jokes and banter with customers because I love to entertain, though sometimes I say things that may come across as rude. One day one of our regulars came in carrying a large cookie.)

Me: Hey! Where’s mine? *Immediately I regret saying that* Oh, sorry, that was rude of me…

Regular: *smiles* I must have forgotten it!

Me: *relieved* Whew! So what can I get for ya?

(Not only was he a good sport, but the next time he came in, he had a cookie for me!)
