Unfiltered Story #92004

(My mother and I work at local retail store. We make a bale of cardboard so that it can be picked up for recycling easier. We used a metal hook to pull the bailing twine to tie.)

Mom: *finishes tying the bale and then taps the metal hook on the ground*

Coworker: <in response> Don’t bang the Hooker on the floor!

Mom: <after a brief pause> Yes, there are better places to do that.

Coworker: <turns bright red>

Me: <watching the whole thing, just bursts out laughing>

(I was pretty sure they could hear me on the main floor, since it was a very small door. There were several curious customers later, but I couldn’t say a thing!)
