Our store is 24 hours, at 9 pm every night we close one set of doors for security purposes. At about 9:15 this exchange happens.

Customer: is there any particular reason this door is closed

Me: yes ma’am those doors close at 9 every night

customer: well you really shouldn’t close them because I need to get my redbox movies from this side

Even though we have another redbox at the other doors, she still insisted that we open the doors for her so she could get her movies. After we had let her do that she came back up, with no movies in her hand, saying that we should close the doors “because people are starting to walk through.”
