Unfiltered Story #67416

(The store is quite obviously closed. 2.5 hours closed to be precise. I’m not in uniform, I’m doing a stock count, there is heavy metal being played loudly enough to be heard from outside and there are frames all over the shop. I’m 5’8, female and have done TaeKwonDo for 11 years and have the scanner in my hand which resembles a brick in weight and size)

Customer: *Tries to open door*

Me: *Shakes head to signal we’re shut*

Customer: *Hammers on door and shakes it* “OPEN THE DOOR IT’S AN EMERGENCY!”

Me: *Scanner in hand, I grab the key and open the door about 4 inches* What’s wrong!?

Customer: “You guys should be open! This sign say’s you’re open until 7:30 every evening! Why aren’t you open! I need to get my contact lenses!!!”

Me: “No ma’am, that sign says we’re open until 7:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, it’s a Monday. And it’s also 10 to 8”

Customer: “I’m guessing that’s a no then…?”
