(We had some boxes of buns set aside for an order. Because it was a small store, some of these boxes had to be placed in the sales area. The boxes were closed and stashed underneath a table)
Customer: *brings package of buns to counter*
Me: “I’m sorry, these buns aren’t for sale. They’re for an order.”
Customer: “No they aren’t, I got them from over there” *points to a now open box underneath the table*
Me: “Yes I’m sorry, all of the buns in the boxes are not for sale. They’re for an order.”
Customer: “Well you should really tell people you know!”
