Unfiltered Story #67363

I work as a cashier at a convenience store. A gentleman in his late 30’s early 40’s came in and I was waiting on him to cash him out. We were having a pleasant conversation and I gave him the total and he said “I suppose you want some money now”

Me: Only if you want these items.
jokingly he replies, I suppose if I were to run out the door someone might tackle me in the parking lot.

Me: Well, It wouldn’t be us because we aren’t allowed to tackle anyone.

He answers, “Well, it would be okay if you tackled me”

I thanked him and said have a nice day because I was totally surprised and had no comeback.
