(i am a relatively young gamer girl who is a costumer in this story, while in a games store i overhear this exchange between a man who bought GTA V for his son, who looks about my age (13), and the cashier who is trying to serve them)

Father: I’d Like to return this game

(note: the game has clearly been opened)

Cashier: Yes Sir, what is wrong with it?

Father: It is not appropriate for my son and the employee who sold it to me said nothing about any of the, erm… sexual scenes in it

Cashier: Sir, i was the employee who sold it to you (at this point the Father becomes rather angry)

Father: (with a slight tone in his voice) Listen, i just want to return this f***ing game

Cashier: I’m sorry sir but with no visible problems with the game, i cannot make the return

Father: LET ME RETURN THE F***ING GAME, I WANT TO SPEAK WITH YOUR MANAGER

Cashier: Sir, the manager is right in front of you (the father begins to turn red)

Cashier: and with no problems with the game what so ever i can- (At this point the son takes the disc off the counter, while the cashier is talking to the father)

Son: LISTEN YOU PIECE OF C*** LET MY DAD RETURN THIS F***ING GAME

Cashier: I’m sorry but there are no problems with the game, i can- (as he says this the son bends this disc and throws it on the counter) Son (suddenly calmer): Now there is a problem with the game

Cashier: I saw you do that, and we have security cameras that saw you do it too, you cannot return this game, and i want you both out of this store (After arguing for bit they both begin to leave and on their way out the father knocks over a stand of games spilling the forty or so of them onto the floor)

Me: Some people…

Cashier: You have no idea

(the cashier begins to clean up the mess of games on the floor and i decide to help him)

Cashier: Thank you little miss

Me: no problem

(since this incident the cashier and i have become friends and after helping him with the games he gave me a small discount off the game i was buying)
