(Our store puts out a sales add every month. Every month, we always advertise that there .22 caliber ammo on sale. Right now, that particular ammo is very sought after and in short supply. At the bottom of the sales add, in small print, it states “while supplies last”. It should be the largest statement on the ad.)
Day 1.
Customer: Where is the 22 you are advertising?
Me: We are sold out at the moment. Our next shipm….
Customer: WHY WOULD YOU POST SOMETHING IN YOUR AD WHEN YOU DON’T EVEN SELL IT?!
Me: everything we sell is “while supplies last.” It says it in the add itself.
Customer: B*****IT!
Me: *grabs ad and points out the sentence*
Customer: ….Well….you should still have more in stock!
Me: I’ll make a note of it sir.
Customer: A****LE!
