Customer: Can you tell me if the one on Amazon is the right edition?
Me: No. We can’t guarantee that another company’s product is the right one for your class.
Customer (over the phone): Can you give me the ISBN for this book?
Me: I’m sorry, we’re not allowed to give that information out.
Customer: Can you tell me what the cover of this book looks like? (It’s a book *set*, not an individual book anyway.)
Me: I’m sorry I don’t know what it looks like.
Customer: Well your prices are overrated. I can buy them all online for cheaper.
Me: Ok. (walks away)
Manager: [My name]: you’re a lot nicer to them then I’d be!
