(My mom manages the front end at a large, very well-known retail chain. This exchange happens while she’s working the floor near the registers one afternoon.)
Customer: (Coming up to my mom, with a smirk on his face and holding out a box of condoms) Can I try these on?
Mom: (Glances at the condoms, looks back up at the man with a straight face, and points to her left) The dressing rooms are just over there.
(My mom then calmly turns around and casually walks away. She said the man’s jaw practically dropped to the floor!)
