Various operators for the city’s light rail trains have their own ways of greeting patrons and calling out stops. One operator goes above and beyond, but speaks quickly and does not enunciate very well, so his announcements tend to be very long, disjointed, and fairly unintelligible.
Operator: “Welcomeabord thisistheeassboundrain. Eassbound, eassboun! This is the eass. Boun. Drain. Nesstop is wessdwennyfif wessdwennyfif. Wess…dwennyfiff street station? Thangyouforridinwithus, enjoyyourday. Pleasebesafe, pleasebecareful…before exitinthedrain. Hope your day isrewardingand…uh…enjoyyurday. Be sure to keep allyourbelongings. Whateveryou camwith?
