Unfiltered Story #57199

I am an 18 year old girl, home alone, when the phone rings. Upon answering i can tell its a pretty common scam call and im in the middle of studying i just lie to get them to hang up (usually if you just hang up straight away, they will call back.)

Man: “Yes i am just calling to discuss an issue with your internet connection”

Me: “Oh im sorry, my parents arent home right now.”

(Usually, they easily hang up at this point)

Man: “How old are you?”

Me: “14”

Man: “Do you have a boyfriend?”

Me: “… what?” (Im a bit shocked at this question)

Man: “Are you single?”

(In stead of responding i just hang up… way too creepy for me… i really dont want to know why hes asking a 14 year olds relationship status )
