(I’m at a bakery. It’s almost Easter, so there’s a display cabinet full of hot cross buns. There are three bees buzzing around inside there, and I see one actually on one of the buns. It takes a minute or so for a worker to come to the counter)
Me: Excuse me, but there are several bees in the hot cross buns cabinet.
Worker (apathetically): There must be a hive nearby.
Me: Maybe you should get rid of them.
Worker: …
(I’m interested in something in another cabinet, but see a fly in there. It’s not the first time this has happened.)
Me: There’s a fly in this cabinet.
Worker: …
(I left, not impressed with the worker)
